Soka Gakkai, a strikingly wealthy Japanese sect, tries again for U.S. glory with a splendid new campus. Daisaku Ikeda's unaccountable empire can thank lax treatment of the nonprofit world.
Walk the hilly campus of Soka University of America in Aliso Viejo, Calif. and you enter the fabulous world of the international nonprofit. The three-year-old school has so far put about $300 million into its 103 suburban Orange County acres, and this is still a work in progress. As of this fall, only 400 students will meander among the rich, Romanesque architecture.
The primary benefactor of Soka U is a controversial offshoot of Japanese Buddhism called Soka Gakkai, headed for 44 years by the sometimes messianic and persistently self-aggrandizing Daisaku Ikeda. But significant secondary support comes from favorable tax treatment in Japan, the U.S. and around the globe, just as enjoyed by other philanthropies big and small. In the U.S. the nonprofit sector is spending $875 billion a year and employs 9% of the work force yet has precious little accountability, other than the public financial statements required of most charities. Religious entities don't even have that degree of accountability. They enjoy all the benefits of tax exemption without any requirement that they say what they are up to.
Soka Gakkai is a shadowy case in point. Ikeda, now 76 and president of Soka Gakkai International, the sect's global umbrella, claims 12 million followers and has amassed an empire that was put at $100 billion by a Japanese parliamentarian a decade ago. (The sect says that's wrong but otherwise won't comment on its finances.) A nasty split from Nichiren Buddhists set off a cycle of alleged violence, blackmail and intimidation. Soka Gakkai members in Japan have been charged with illegal wiretapping and breaking into private databases. The sect says it has nothing to do with those activities, noting that its ranks include nearly 10% of all Japanese. But yet-darker allegations have been made (see box, p. 130).
Soka Gakkai (literally, "value-creating society") brings in, conservatively, $1.5 billion a year to the top line, according to our best estimates of its membership, its tithing demands and its commercial activities. Most of that revenue is collected in Japan, where the sect sells its flock funeral plots, assorted religious paraphernalia and a newspaper (5.5 million subscribers). The group's far-flung international assets include estates in France and the U.K. In gilded Santa Monica, Calif. a Soka-owned office high- rise and auditorium sit across Wilshire Boulevard from each other, near the town's beach. In the nearby hills a Soka affiliate holds the King Gillette Ranch-- which was used for footage of "Tara" in the film Gone with the Wind. A thousand spiritual centers worldwide include a site worth $6 million near New York City's Union Square.
In wealth and claimed following, Soka Gakkai exceeds more familiar sects such as Hare Krishna, the church of the Reverend Sun Myung Moon and today's hippest (Madonna, etc.) group, members of the Kabbalah Centre. In the U.S. a church can lose its federal tax exemption for getting into politics. Soka managed to get around a similar restriction in Japan, where Ikeda has built up a political party, New Komeito, that helps the long-governing Liberal Democrats hold power.
Soka University of Japan opened in 1971. Soka University of America, first established in 1987 on what is now a graduate campus in Calabasas, Calif., near Malibu, recently obtained preaccreditation for its undergraduate program from an outfit certified by the U.S. Education Department. A parallel process that will cover graduate students also is moving forward.
The preaccreditation means that for the past year American undergrads at Soka U--which reported to the IRS that its assets exceed $740 million--have been eligible to obtain up to $23,000 in federal Stafford loans over the course of their education. Needy recipients can get up to an additional $4,000 a year in Pell Grants.
What are Ikeda's aims? Five years after gaining command of Soka Gakkai, he told a Japanese writer: "I am the king of Japan; I am its president; I am the master of its spiritual life; I am the supreme power who entirely directs its intellectual culture." In the years since, "world peace" has been the sect's mantra. New Komeito promotes pacifism in Japan. Representatives of the sect have worked the UN and other official venues touting international harmony and goodwill--and usually Ikeda. Followers mount a traveling show equating him with Martin Luther King Jr. and Mahatma Gandhi.
In the sect's 1,000 meeting halls Soka members exercise the "life-enhancing" power of chanting. Believers are encouraged to be "many in body, one in mind." This means "You have to make sensei's [teacher's] heart your own. You have to fulfill [Ikeda's] dreams instead of your own," maintains Lisa Jones, a former aide and follower who ghostwrote an Ikeda book and now maintains a Soka-doubter Web site. "His dream is kosen-rufu, or what Soka members call ‘world peace,' which will be achieved when one third of the world chants, one third merely celebrates Ikeda, and the other third doesn't care," she says.
A Soka bid for favor in the U.S. a generation ago, drawing on the era's culture clash and some affiliated celebrities, attracted unwelcome press, and the sect receded a bit. But it has never given up efforts to establish legitimacy and further Ikeda's vision. He founded the Boston Research Center for the 21st Century in a 13,000-square-foot Georgian building next to Harvard University. Ikeda has enticed Mikhail Gorbachev and Henry Kissinger into numerous discussions. He also met with historian Arnold Toynbee, double Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling and civil rights figure Rosa Parks (Soka's U.S. arm boasts a sizable black membership). Some of the conversations with luminaries have been published and sold.
More idealistic or benign than sinister and manipulative? The veil that surrounds the nonprofit world, especially religions, ensures that only the outlines are visible. Soka University files an IRS form; the organization behind it doesn't.
Congress is training its sights anew on nonprofits. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, held hearings in June on tax-exempt abuses. "Far too many charities have broken the understood covenant between the taxpayers and nonprofits," he said. He was angered by local news reports about the looting of family foundations. On Aug. 10 the Internal Revenue Service promised to increase from 230 to 300 the agents it assigns to nonprofit entities. This tiny crew is supposed to take on 1.6 million tax-exempt organizations and an estimated 400,000 additional religious groups that do not have to submit annual tax forms to the IRS. Investigations are typically initiated only in response to complaints. Exceptions to this passive role include the IRS' decades-long losing war with the Church of Scientology.
In the post-Sept. 11 era some Muslim groups have come under scrutiny for ties to terrorism. The Department of Justice recently prosecuted the former head of the American Muslim Council and indicted seven leaders of the Dallas-based Holy Land Foundation. But unless you're tied into terror, you can shout from the rooftops and no one is likely to come looking at your books. "Every revenue agent you assign to a corporate tax return will generate millions of dollars. Every [revenue agent] you assign to a tax-exempt one may not pay his own salary," says Marcus Owens, who headed the IRS' Exempt Organizations division from 1990 to 2000 and is now a private Washington attorney.
So the Ikeda-related wealth here is virtually untouchable. In Japan, Soka has not only its 8,000-student university but also its enhanced political power. At least 20% of the Liberal Democrat deputies could have lost without the support of Soka followers last October, enough to give the opposition Democratic Party a plurality in the Diet. "It's like becoming addicted to amphetamines," says Katsuei Hirasawa, an LDP member of parliament, of his party's link with Komeito.
In a July op-ed in the Asahi newspaper, Koji Ishimura, a professor of tax law at Hakuho University, argued that Soka's political activities were an abuse of its status as a religion. "The influence of a ruling party that relies on a specific religion's organization to form its power base is growing stronger," wrote Ishimura, who called for Soka's donations to be taxed.
Ikeda established his fundraising prowess early on. According to University of North Carolina professor James White, who wrote a book about Soka, Ikeda threw a scare into the Japanese insurance industry in the 1960s in a crash four-day drive for a key temple at Mount Fuji. Record sums were raised, with some members cashing in life policies to help.
Soka's initial U.S. academic beachhead in rustic Calabasas met with bustle-wary neighbors. After an extended development fight, the 660 acres today may be home to only half a dozen linguistics students destined for jobs as language instructors for Japanese Soka emissaries.
The action shifted to Aliso Viejo in 2001, with promises of a nonsectarian institution with a first-rate library and renowned secular faculty. The new master-planned community was accommodating. Campus athletic and arts attractions, as well as the library, were open to the public. Popular U.S. author Joe McGinniss was a notable instructor hire.
But reality began to kick in when McGinniss and others complained of interference from on high. Several staff have left--McGinniss' contract wasn't renewed--and one sued. Another filed for arbitration and lost.
Earnest university officials are at pains to showcase an arts-and-letters idyll devoted to the betterment of mankind. Soka U insists it is an independent, nonsectarian school not even as religiously influenced as, say, Brigham Young or Notre Dame universities. But at least a majority of Soka U's trustees have direct Soka Gakkai connections. Today 70% of matriculants are Soka Gakkai members.
Some secular faculty felt squeezed. The university was sued in 2002 by Linda Southwell, a fired fine arts professor. Her complaint disputed a "commitment to rigorous academic endeavor, free and open dialogue, and an appreciation for human diversity" when "in reality the curriculum is intended to reflect cult beliefs and perspectives" and speech and association are limited. She also claimed Soka members were favored faculty.
Soka University settled the discrimination and wrongful termination in a "satisfactory" manner that included a confidentiality clause, Southwell's lawyer Brian Glicker says. Another professor, who quit her "frightening" job, begs off discussing the specifics of her beef.
Glicker maintains he's heard from several other non-Soka Gakkai International staff members. "Many or most non-SGI staff or faculty are at least considering leaving," says one disaffected professor. "The university was only able to hire 7 or 8 of the 21 faculty it tried to hire." University officials say they'd not heard this and attribute departures to the growing pains of a new school. They claim an 81% retention rate.
An initial goal of 1,200 students remains a ways off. Has the academic friction been a roadblock? The university says more hiring and building await full accreditation, which it expects soon. On campus, the image is of serenity and strength. The buildings use the same stone featured in the Colosseum in Rome. Ikeda insisted on using it because he intends his university to last 2,000 years, a Soka U spokesman explains. The campus also sports a security camera network rivaling that of any casino.
The university includes a sizable "guest house" and a larger "athenaeum" overlooking a regional park. The sumptuous residence is set aside for VIPs, such as, in the words of one university official, "the president of Venezuela or Daisaku Ikeda." It has ornate furniture, a portrait of Ikeda and many artworks, all covered in white cloth until the VIPs show.
The undergraduate catalog says that "as leaders and decision makers," Soka's graduates "will be guided by the ideal of a contributive life, a humanistic approach drawn from Buddhist thought." But Soka Gakkai newspapers and other publications, filling a prominent shelf in the Soka University library--named for Ikeda--all feature Ikeda's interpretations of Buddhism: To wit, achieve world peace and democracy by becoming one in Soka and chanting. The university notes it also has other Buddhist texts.
Like other students approached at Aliso Viejo, Fabiana Sanchez, 21, a senior and a Soka Gakkai member, says she wants to do something for society or peace. She plans to return to her native Venezuela upon graduation and get involved in some sort of work "linking education and politics."
Soka U denies a rumor that the aging sensei plans a visit soon to his American academic citadel. Succession at the sect's helm is uncertain: Two sons are vice presidents in Soka but the sect denies a hereditary rule. Meanwhile the tax-favored billions continue to roll in, almost entirely outside the purview of authorities anywhere.

Prominent believers in Soka Gakkai include Mariane Pearl, the widow of murdered journalists Daniel Pearl, jazz musician Herbie Hancock and Patrick Duffy of Dallas Tv show fame. Singer Tina Turner was identified with Soka Gakkai in years past, but her spokesman would not confirm an association.

They're still only having around that many students, and here we are, over 15 years after that article was written. Part of it is that Soka U rejects a large number of applicants because doing so creates a metric that is used to indicate "exclusivity" by ranking agencies. Will Soka U ever reach its goal of a 1,200-strong student body? My sources say No.

That's exactly the kind of criticism we get here from the SGI crusaders who pop in - they'll say "That's wrong" but never provide any documentation or even explanation as to why. We're expected to change everything on the basis of their "That's wrong". That's more of that "entitlement mentality" we were recently talking about.

This is why Ikeda forbade the overseas organizations from forming their own "Komeito" political parties back in the 1970s. That ban remains in place.

Oh more of this grandiose blather. Ikeda just loves talking in multiple thousands of years. The Sho-Hondo was supposed to last 10,000 years, if anyone remembers. Where's your Sho-Hondo now, Scamsei?? Ikeda apparently thinks talking in large terms will make him larger than life.

It's just another "Ikeda House" (so of course it's "sumptuous", since it's for Scamsei) but they have to make it sound like it's more than just a private residence for Ikeda, because that will get them in trouble with nonprofit laws in this country. I'm betting NO ONE has ever stayed in it, since that was after Ikeda stopped traveling.

Round 4 of the 2016 Summer Street Circuit Contest is over, and it's time for round 5.
Last week, we traveled to the Coloradoan town of Castle Rock, former home of Continental Divide Raceways. 20 designers participated.
Let's see how they did.
tininsteelian-2 took his first win of the season in Castle Rock. He received 9 votes, but because of the bonus, he takes home 11 points.
Second place was a tie on 9 points between RWPROfficial and PM_ME_UR_ALLIGATOR.
Third place went to pjlee98 with 6 points.
Fourth place went to lui5mb with 5 points. He finished off the podium for the first time this season.
Fifth place was a tie on 4 points between 4 designers: Alo_14, MBKF1, viinster88 (who returned for the first time since the 2015 Monza round), and newcomer McPhilen.
Sixth place was a tie on 3 points between 3d_orz, -JensonButton-, mdmcadams, and murphyslaaawl.
Seventh place was a tie on 2 points between ARandomPerson17, exaenae, and IanE55, who returns for the first time since the 2016 Winter São Paulo round.
Eighth place went to newcomer NoonecanknowMiner on 1 point.
Ninth place was a "tie" on 0 points between newcomer Hampster3 and, surprisingly, the top two in the 2016 Winter championship: vwlou89 and knoxvox.

lui5mb continues to dominantly sit atop the table despite his unsuccessful Castle Rock performance. The gap has closed, though.
tininsteelian-2 hops from 4th to 2nd after his great Castle Rock win. He's now only 13 points behind lui5mb.
RWPROfficial remains in 3rd after another second place in Castle Rock. He did close his gap to lui5mb by 2 points, though.
3d_orz fell from 2nd to 4th after an unsuccessful Castle Rock round. He's only 1 point behind third, though.
PM_ME_UR_ALLIGATOR continues to occupy the 5th spot in the championship. His second place in Castle Rock has closed the gap to some of those ahead of him, though.
Last season's champion, vwlou89, dropped out of the top 10 to 13th after a miserable performance where he scored 0 points. Last season's runner-up knoxvox joined him in the 0-point group. Hopefully these two can get back on track and catch back up to the leaders.
Last place in the championship now belongs to Castle Rock newcomer Hampster3. If he participates in more rounds, he won't be at the bottom of the championship for long.
Last week, we traveled to the Coloradoan town of Castle Rock. This week, we do something a bit different.
Before Grand Prix racing officially started, there were still simple racing competitions. Motor racing itself began in France and the first official motoring contest happened in 1894 at the Paris-Rouen rally. For the rest of the 19th century, motor racing seemed to be an exclusively European activity.
In 1900, the United States took interest in motor racing. A rich American businessman from New York with Scottish heritage wanted to make motor racing an international event. It was not actually Donald Trump, but Gordon Bennett, the publisher of the New York Herald, who began the Gordon Bennett Cup. It was a French motor race, but all nations of the world were open to entry with their home manufacturers.
The USA was never successful in the 6 runnings of the Gordon Bennett Cup between 1900 and 1905, but in 1905, they started their own racing league.
The 1905 AAA National Motor Car Championship was the first ever season of the premier American open-wheel series. The series had 10 points-paying races which were primarily held at repurposed horse racing tracks.
So this week, in honor of our contest moving internationally next week, I am giving you the opportunity to build your circuits at any of the 9 locations which hosted Champ Car races in 1905.
Here's a short rundown all the locations.
The Bronx
The Bronx is the 4th largest of New York City's 5 boroughs. Its most famous attraction is currently Yankee Stadium, but in 1905 the borough held two Champ Car races, both at a former horse racing facility called Morris Park.
The opening race of the season, the Morris Park 5, was won by Swiss-American Louis Chevrolet. The second race at Morris Park in 1905, the Morris Park 1, was won by Iowa native Webb Jay. Morris Park never hosted another Champ Car race after that. In 1910, most of the facilities burned down, and by 1921 there was an iron factory on top of the former site.
If you choose the Bronx as your location, then you must keep your circuit in the Bronx. You may not cross over into any other New York City boroughs.
Hartford
Hartford is the capital and fourth-largest city in Connecticut. In 1905, the city held one Champ Car race at another former horse racing facility called Charter Oak Park.
The second race of the 1905 season, the Hartford 5, was won by legendary Ohio native Barney Oldfield. The track would never host another motor race, but it continued to host horse races until 1925. The track was doomed when Connecticut put anti-betting laws into place in 1925, and nowadays the site is occupied by a strip mall and a Walmart.
If you choose Hartford as your location, you may use both Hartford and the smaller town of West Hartford, because the race was basically held on what is now the line between the two towns.
Yonkers
Yonkers is the fourth most populous city in New York. In 1905, the city held one Champ Car race at another former horse racing facility called the Empire City Race Track.
The third race of the 1905 season, the Empire City 10, was won by Louis Chevrolet, who took his second win of the season. The track would never host another motor race, but it was reopened for horse racing in 1907. In 1950, the track was renamed Yonkers Raceway. The track is still there today as a part of the Empire City Casino.
If you choose Yonkers as your location, obviously you must keep your track in Yonkers.
Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh is the second largest city in Pennsylvania. In 1905, the city held one Champ Car race at another horse racing facility called Brunots Island Race Track.
The fourth race of the 1905 season, the Brunots Island 10, was won by Louis Chevrolet, who took his second win in a row and third win of the season. The track would never host another motor race, but it continued to host horse races until 1914. Brunots Island is now home to a fossil fuel power plant.
If you choose Pittsburgh as your location, obviously you must keep your track in Pittsburgh.
Cleveland
Cleveland is the second largest city in Ohio. In 1905, the city's Glenville neighborhood held one Champ Car race at another horse racing facility called Glenville Race Track.
The sixth race of the 1905 season, the Glenville 5, was won by Ohio native Charles Burman, who won his first and last Champ Car race ever. The track would never host another motor race, and the site was abandoned in 1908 after betting was banned. The neighborhood of Glenville is now just a residential area.
If you choose Cleveland as your location, obviously you must keep your track in Cleveland.
Buffalo
Buffalo is the second largest city in New York. In 1905, the city held one Champ Car race at another horse racing facility called Kenilworth Park Race Track.
The seventh race of the 1905 season, the Buffalo 5, was won by Barney Oldfield, who took his second win of the season. Webb Jay was critically injured at this event and wouldn't return to racing again. The track would never host another motor race, and the track closed in 1908 after race track betting was banned in New York. The former site is now home to residential area.
If you choose Buffalo as your location, you must keep your track in Buffalo.
Boston
Boston is the largest city in Massachusetts. In 1905, the city's Readville neighborhood held one Champ Car race at another former horse racing facility called Readville Race Track.
The eighth race of the 1905 season, the Readville 5, was won by Barney Oldfield, who took his second win in a row and third win of the season. The track would never host another Champ Car race, but horse races and motor races were held at the track until 1937. During World War II, US Navy pilots practiced touch-and-go landings at the oval, but since then it was completely inactive. The former site is now home to a warehouse and a bike racing school.
If you choose Boston as your location, you must keep your track in Boston. The former track was actually in the Readville neighborhood of Boston, but you can use all of the Boston area. You MAY NOT just copy the proposed Boston street circuit that was supposed to host IndyCar in 2016. You must make your own unique track.
Cranston
Cranston is the third largest city in Rhode Island. In 1905, the city held one Champ Car race at another former horse racing facility called Narragansett Park Speedway.
In 1867, the park opened as Narragansett Trotting Park and its opening day was attended by both J.P. Morgan and Cornelius Vanderbilt. In 1873, the park closed, but it was bought again in 1886 for the Rhode Island State Fair. In 1896, the first ever American automobile race was held at the park. An electric Riker car won.
The ninth race of the 1905 season, the Providence 5, was won by Barney Oldfield, who took his third win in a row and fourth win of the season.
If you choose Cranston as your location, you must keep your track in Cranston. You may slightly cross over into the larger city of Providence, but your track must be mostly in Cranston.
Poughkeepsie
Poughkeepsie is a small city in New York and was New York's second capital shortly after the American Revolution. In 1905, the city held one Champ Car race at another former horse racing facility called Hudson River Driving Park.
The final race of the 1905 season, the Poughkeepsie 5, was won by Barney Oldfield, who took his fourth win in a row and fifth win of the season. He officially won the 1905 AAA Champ Car championship after this race.
If you choose Poughkeepsie as your location, you must keep your track in Poughkeepsie.
That was an awful lot of history.
That is correct, you will have NINE options to choose from to design your tracks. You can choose any location on the list. You can only submit one track as always, so don't think you have to design a track for each location.
In case you haven't seen the last two seasons, here are the rules with some new additions.

1. Stay within the town or city limits of the town or city assigned.
   
2. Don't worry about realism. If you want to put a pitlane in the middle of a major motorway, do it.
   
3. The circuits have to be mostly on streets. Purpose built sections may be built in parks/farms/etc but the track must be mostly a street circuit. Tracks cannot be built over previously built buildings.
   
4. You must include at least a screenshot of your track. Links to RouteBuilder or GmapPedometer will not be counted.
   

Track designs must be submitted by Wednesday. The voting thread will go up then.
Please include a direct Imgur or Dropbox link in your submission. RouteBuilder submissions will not be counted.
You're designing a street circuit in either The Bronx, New York; Hartford, Connecticut; Yonkers, New York; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Cleveland, Ohio; Buffalo, New York; Boston, Massachusetts; Cranston, Rhode Island; or Poughkeepsie, New York. Follow the rules. You have until Wednesday.

All teams are fully customized and I have a roster for each team setup as well. I know a lot of these teams aren't where the real teams are but I fixed it to like the MLB minor league system many teams play in large markets. I tried to base some teams on teams that do or once existed as a professional basketball team that was in the area. I didn't name the Seattle team the Sonics because I felt like the Sonics deserve to be strictly NBA not a minor league team if they ever do make a come back. I also tried to avoid teams being in the same market such as the Jazz and the Thunder D league teams being in in OKC or SLC.
-The Iowa Energy is the only team that plays in the same exact arena as they do in real life. -The Greensboro Swarm play in the large arena in the same complex that they play at. -The Rio Grande Valley Vipers I moved to a larger arena in Laredo, TX still along the Rio Grande River. -The New Mexico Thunderbirds I moved to The Pit aka WisePies Arena in Albuquerque. -The Austin Spurs I moved to the larger Frank Erwin Center just south of the University of Texas campus in downtown Austin. -The Texas Legends I moved to Fort Worth as Dallas & Fort Worth are decent drives. Fort Worth fans don't have to travel as far to enjoy a professional basketball game. -The Idaho Stampede and the Tulsa 66ers I moved back to there original locations as both irl are very close to their original team. -I felt like the Scottrade Center was a little too big for a d league team when a perfect size arena is nearby that's why STL plays in st Charles

With the letter that was sent to the justice dept. headed by Jeff Sessions, a person who lied in more than two Senate confirmation hearings about talking to the Russians before Trump's election to gain the post of our Attorney General, it seems like Trump was right about one thing.
That he can buy anybody he wants to, with his money.
Now it's becoming perfectly clear that two of our top Republican Senators, Charles Grassley of Iowa who is also the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee investigating Trump's collusion with the Russian counter-intelligence officials for election purposes and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a senior committee member of the same committee, have sold their souls for Trump's money.
It is rumored that Trump paid about 25+ million dollars worth of bribes to these two Senators which is similar to what he rumored to have paid to five reluctant Republican Senators like Ms. Susan Collins of New Hampshire, Jeff Flake of Arizona, Bob Corker of Tennessee, John McCain of Arizona and Marco Rubio of Florida.
It must be noted that these five Senators voted for the tax bill at the end of last year after initially refusing to put their their names to a very destructive Trump initiated tax bill.
And now for a high sum of Trump's money, these two of the very highly reputed Republican Senators changed their well long held convictions which was to bring an end to Russia's influence in our country's electoral process which Trump and his campaign team started by colluding with the Russian counter-intelligence agencies run by Putin himself.
By deliberately deciding to change the direction of the Trump-Russia investigations, these two G.O.P. Senators have turned the whole process into a travesty of justice.
They've torpedoed this Russia inquiry which was going in the right direction so far into a false inquiry of Christopher Steele, a British spy who filed the now famous 35-page dossier about Trump's romping with the Russian prostitutes in the same hotel room in Moscow where President Obama stayed with Michelle just a few months before Trump arrived in Moscow.
For big chunk of money from Trump, these two Senators decided to ignore the fact that Trump did rent the same room in the same Russian Hotel to desecrate the same bed where Obama and his wife Michelle slept, by asking those girls to act out an an ugly act that anyone can watch in many of the porn films called "Golden Shower".
Trump did all that because of his tremendous rage against Obama, the first African-American president of our country whom he hated from his heart for the color of Obama's dark skin.
For Trump it was the same 50+ years of total hatred against the people of darker skin color that he cultivated after hearing the stories from his father who as a member of KKK butchered God knows how many members of the Black community in his '20s and thereafter.
Just like his father Fred Trump, Donald hated all the Black employees who worked in his casinos in Atlantic City,NJ or the Black folks who came to rent his apartments in NYC.
He refused to rent his apartments to any Black or minority persons even after Nixon administration fined him big time.
And now these two Republican Senators, Mr. Grassley and Mr. Graham want to help the same hater of the Black people for a big chunk of money.
Go figure !
